Time stood still for the 18 couples who attended the Marriage Encounter. A much-needed pause for reflection and soul searching. Aiming for perfection, every couple entered into marriage with high hopes. Their initial idea was not far from the truth of what God had envisioned marriage to be. Pastor Simon Yee remarked of God’s perfect plan of marriage: “Marriage is a conception of something that is perfect. It sets the standard of excellence. Let’s all fall in love again.”

“Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers.

Christmas Magic was brought back to China in 2017, from 23 November to 16 December, as we felt it was important to continue to share the Christmas message of faith, hope and love with the Chinese. The four cities we visited this time around were Shanghai, Chongqing, Xiamen and Hangzhou. A total of nine shows were performed in these four cities.

Pastors Simon and Marilyn led an excited team of 20 FCBC members from Singapore to attend the first G12 conference in Indonesia. Besides Pastor’s 12, the team also included Pastor’s 144 and 1728!

Pastor Simon and Pastor Marilyn, together with their G12 leaders led a Marriage Encounter to help couples renew and strengthen their relationships.

My husband Sam and I had the honour of being invited by Pastor Simon and Pastor Marilyn to join their G12 team retreat in Muar Prayer House in March 2017.

Rounding off its Asia tour, Christmas Magic headed to China to make its debut in the cities of Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Dongguan.

China – As part of its Asia tour, Gateway Entertainment’s (GE) iconic production Christmas Magic will make its debut in China this Christmas season.

Strategic partnership with industry bigwig sets the stage to propel Gateway Entertainment further into China’s sophisticated Arts & Entertainment Market

Considered by many Taiwanese as the most liveable city with its endless restaurants, specialty food shops and night markets, the industrial city of Taichung served as Gateway Entertainment (GE)’s second stop for Christmas Magic’s tour of Taiwan.

Gateway Entertainment (GE)’s 2016 tour of Taiwan began in the city of Kaohsiung, the country's second largest city and premier trading port.

The task ahead of us looked challenging: Five staff from FCBC and Gateway Entertainment on a 13-day tour, doing eight shows and traversing through eight cities in South Korea, from Seogwipo, Jeju, the southernmost part of Korea, to Gimpo, one of the northernmost cities which is just an hour’s ride from the Korean Demilitarised Zone.

Gateway Theatre is completed at last! After a three-year long wait, we were finally back in our beloved Bukit Merah neighbourhood.

Riding on the success of Christmas Magic in Taipei back in 2013, Gateway Entertainment is bringing this famed gospel-illusion production to Kaohsiung and Taichung in November this year. Senior Pastor Lawrence and Nina, our Gateway Entertainment colleagues and I took a trip to Taiwan to work out the show’s details.

This Easter, things ran a little differently at FCBC. Instead of inviting our pre-believing friend to the usual cell parties where we’d share the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ through stories, videos and skits, we invited them to donate blood together with us at the Drops of Life blood donation drive. It was LoveSingapore’s very first blood donation drive.

What if I told you that the reason for the season is you? This was the message Deputy Senior Pastor Daniel Khong and Pastor Daniel Gan brought to FCBC and all the pre-believing guests that were invited to our Christmas services in 2015.

“To walk the talk” was the response Yvette Leong, one of the volunteers at Banquet of Honour, gave when asked why she and her team from the National Institute of Education offered to lend us a helping hand as part of their service-learning project based on appreciation.

School holidays are finally here! If you’re a student, this is probably your favourite time of the year. But before you start letting your hair down, let’s not forget our teachers who have worked very hard to educate and disciple the next generation. For three particular individuals, 2015 is an exceptionally significant year as they’ve been awarded the Most Caring Teacher Award:

As Love From The Stars draws nearer, perhaps it’s time to learn more about the stars we’ll soon be seeing in person at the concert.

My dear Hokkien members, from just the testimony of Ng Ngian How & Monica, God is telling us, “He cares!”

When I spoke to Tay Hock Lai and Ng Mooi Eng one Saturday afternoon, they were keen to share their testimony of a life-changing encounter they experienced with God after joining the Hokkien Celebration Service for just a few months.

Two members of our Hokkien Celebration Service got married at TOUCHCENTRE last Saturday. What’s so special, you may ask. Well, the bride is 75 years old and the groom is 85 years old.

In part two of our feature on FCBC’s star athletes – we spoke to Lim Wei Wen, a national fencer who’s currently under Pastor Asher and Wendy Eng’s team.

Did you know: FCBC has our very own national athletes! We took the chance to speak to one of them this past week.

Jubilee Day of Prayer (JDOP) was indeed a historic moment, not just for the Church in Singapore, but for the whole nation.

We’ve all heard of many quotes like this: “Love your parents. We are so busy growing up, we often forget they are also growing old.” But do we take action?
